[Also in Division B3] A connector 6 comprises parallel plate sections 8, 10, 12, connected by bights 14, 16, the plates 10, 12 being provided with a plurality of slots 18 having a width at their lower ends less than that of the conductive core of a wire which is inserted therein. The connectors are located in the widened portions of slots 34, 38, formed in a plastics clamping plate 22, lateral extensions 19, 21 on the connectors engaging under the surface of the plate. In openings 32, the connectors are placed in pairs with their plate sections 8 facing each other. The plate 22 is assembled to a base member 20 by locking arms 44 engaging in slots 46 and a cover is latched to the base 20 by fingers 50. The corners of the housing are provided with cable clamps 48.</p> |
