An electrical contact terminal such as a pin 2 is formed from sheet material of good electrical conductivity, its body 10 being surrounded by a sleeve 20, the longitudinal seams 24, 26 of body and sleeve being diametrically opposite, relative movement being prevented as by ears 30 on the sleeve bent into an aperture 28 in the body. Crimping ferrules 14, 16 may be provided for conductor and insulation of a cable 15. A socket 4 is similarly constructed, being provided with a resilient tongue, not shown, in the body for engaging the pin 12. The terminals are located in insulating bodies by lances 22, 50 and projections 18, 34 respectively.</p> |
