Simultaneously glazing and firing a ceramic

Ceramics for single firing are composed, before firing in wt.% of Al2O3, 40-50; clay, 25-35; nephelinic syenite, 20-30; and the glaze of Al2O, 0-5; nephelinic syenite, 78-85; clay, 5-15; crushed zircon, 8-10; talc, 1-4, where pref. Al2O3 0.044 mm particles, Syenite 0.037 mm, clay is figuline clay. Firing temp:- cones 11-13, giving modulus of rupture 560 kg/cm2. Used for road markings.
