The machine produces C-shaped chain links from wire for subsequent welding, having a wire feed mechanism and a parting knife working with a shear bush, also a bending mechanism for the parted-off blank holder. There is a notching mechanism upstream of the bush. This mechanism has a single notching blade (47), acting against the side of the wire (22) opposite to the parting knife (17). The blade can be adjustable and lockable on the short arm of a lever rocking on an axis parallel to the wire. Its other arm is coupled by a rod, adjustable for length, to the bending mechanism drive shaft (12).PS. |
