A transportable stove comprises a rectangular casing divided into three compartments A, B, C, compartment A having an air inlet 16 and housing a motor 11 for fan rotors 14, 15 in compartment B which has an outlet 17, and compartment C housing a combustion chamber 4c which includes a burner unit 4b fed with butane or propane, two opposite walls of chamber 4c being formed by the casing and the other two by walls 2a, 2b spaced therefrom to form waste gas outlet ducts 5, 6. Adjustable louvres 8a admit air to dilute the waste gases, and fixed louvres 9 admit combustion air to chamber 4c. If the burner unit 4b is provided with more than two rows of burners, the lowermost louvre blades 9 are extended to the outermost rows to ensure that the central rows receive a primary airflow. An automatic device 22 controls the motor 11 and burner ignition. The casing has a removable lid 10.</p> |
