Etching electrodes - for electrolytic condensers with addn of precipitant ions reacting with undesired ions

Removing undesired ions in electrolytic bath for etching electrolytic condenser electrodes, is effected by adding an aq. soln. of ions capable of forming a difficulty soluble salt with the undersired ions. (Pref. Al electrodes are etched in a Cl-contg. electrolyte with addn. of a BaCl2 soln. (capable of reacting with SO4 = ions).
