PURPOSE: To color a conventional infrared light-emitting layer without lowering luminous intensity, allow macroscopically-visible information to be recorded and increase the amount of information. CONSTITUTION: A colored infrared light-emitting layer 2A is formed and made printed matter by using an ink composition containing an infrared fluorescent material which is excited by infrared light and emits light in the infrared wavelength area and a black pigment which is not absorbed in the infrared wavelength area (or a black infrared fluorescent material made by making an organic material which is excited by infrared light and emits light in the infrared wavelength area to be absorbed into a black pigment which is not absorbed in an infrared wavelength area) and printing it to a printing base material 1.
