<p>A machine to turn over domestic refuse, deposited in clamps to turn it into compost, contains a central part which receives the refuse from a forward collector part. The central part includes a revolving drum with scoops on the periphery, and mixing rollers. The refuse is then conveyed to a rear part in which side panels and a top grader panel shape the clamps to size. This machine has a greater capacity than conventional appliances. It combines an effective crumbling, mixing, oxygen admission, turning, humidifying and redepositing of the refuse.</p> |
