PURPOSE:To attain optical spatial transmission even to a location where an infrared ray is not directly reached. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter is made up of a lighting line signal transmission means 1 converting a video and an audio signal into a digital signal, applying digital modulation to the digital signal and sending the modulated signal to a lighting line, a lighting line signal optical conversion means 12 receiving the signal from the lighting line, applying analog modulation to the signal, converting the modulated signal into an optical signal and sending the signal, and an optical signal reception means 24 receiving the optical signal, converting the received signal into an electric signal, applying analog demodulation to the converted signal to provide an output of a video signal and an audio signal. Through the constitution above, in order to conduct optical spatial transmission by an infrared ray after the reception of the lighting line signal, the optical spatial transmission is made available even to a location where an infrared ray is not directly reached. |
