PURPOSE:To visibly record patterns on a CD optical disk by constituting character and graphic patterns of arrangement of dots by bit arrangement of specific bit lengths. CONSTITUTION:The character patterns (a) are composed of vertical 17 dots x horizontal 23 dots per 1 character, the patterns (b) are composed of vertical 7 dots X horizontal 5 dots and the patterns (c) are composed of vertical 7 dots X horizontal 5 dots. The channel bit patterns of the bit length 3T or 11T are used for the symbols of the character pattern parts and the channel bit patterns of 11T or 3T are used for the spacing parts so that the average reflectivity of light in the character pattern parts and the spacing parts varies from each other. The CD optical disk visibly recorded with the character and graphic patterns indicating trademarks, copywrites, etc., is thus formed by utilizing the data recorder of a CD system as it is. |
