The cutting board is rectangular with the major working surface marked out in equal squares, with clips, built on edge-scales, and a sliding straight edge. A length of paper may be cut from a roll by first clipping its free transverse edge to the board, the straight edge then being positioned relative to the scales and finally being used to effect the cut of mark a cutting line. Sliding pointers on a long edge may be used to position elements of a repetitive decorative motif and, thus, ensure motif continuity at the vertical joints.
|
