<p>PURPOSE:To gasify a waste tire by simple dry distillation without necessitating any expert, by leading a branched pipe from an air pipe connecting the bottom of a cylinder with a blower and placing the opening of the branched pipe near a gas burner tip. CONSTITUTION:A used tire 12 is piled up through a waste tire inlet 52 in such a way that the center hole of the tire is connected to an air supply cylinder 20, and ignited. Combustion of the tire is further accelerated by fully opening a damper 38 of an air supply conduit 26 and supplying a lot of air from a blower 28. When a temp. in the furnace is sufficiently raised, the damper 38 is throttled to supply oxygen in an amt. only necessary to drt distillation. The waste tire melts beginning with its surface and an ignitable gas begins to voltailize and is retained in a chamber 16. Then it is possible to carryout stable dry distillation by sending high-temp. air through an opening 46 to the chamber 16 by starting hot air supply means 50 and controlling a temp. in the furnace depending on conditions required for the dry distillation.</p> |
