PURPOSE:To reduce consumption of a battery, and to obtain a picture of a good quality, by automatically detecting a state immediately before pushing a shutter button, or a movement of the shutter button, and starting a driving motor of a medium for recording a picture. CONSTITUTION:A motor 5 is rotated by detecting an operation of a shutter button 10 without a moment's delay by a detecting circuit 50, and operating a switch 11. After the motor 5 rises so as to rotate stably, a shutter 7 is opened and closed. When light of one picture portion is made incident to an image pickup element 8, the image pickup element 8 stores a picture by 1 frame portion instantaneously, in the form of amount of charge corresponding to intensity of light. This picture is scanned and read in order, and as a serial electric signal, a signal of one frame portion is extracted by synchronizing with the shutter, by an one frame sampling circuit 9, and it is recorded in a magnetic disk 4. |
