<p>A safety barrier for roads comprises a cable (13) passing through a tubular rail (5) made out of a lower part (7) which contains an upwardly directed opening and an upper part (8) which contains a downwardly directed opening. The upper rail part (8) has inwardly folded edges (9) which bear against the upper edges of the lower rail part. The cable is held in position by a lower clamp (10) fixed to the lower rail part and an upper clamp (16), the ends of which bear onto the upper surfaces of the edges of the upper rail part.</p> |
