PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption by improving combustion in a high load area of an engine torque and to suppress smoke occurrence in a high load area in a lean barn area, in a cylinder injection engine having a turbo supercharger. SOLUTION: Scavenge accelerating control for scavenging exhaust gas in a combustion chamber is performed using at least one of a pressure in an intake pipe, a pressure in the combustion chamber, and a pressure in an exhaust pipe, and fuel is injected twice during an intake compression process.
