PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of efficiency and accuracy for correcting a metal mold, by automatically blowing ink onto a correction point of the metal mold on the basis of dimensions, shape data, etc. obtained by a three- dimensional measuring machine. CONSTITUTION:A point of correction and its amount are calculated in a control unit 6 from dimensions and shape data of a metal mold W obtained by a three- dimensional measuring machine 1, and ink is blown to the correction point of the metal mold by using an ink jetting device 5 provided in the three- dimensional measuring machine. That is, a symbol of, for instance, (x), ( ), etc., which shows the correction amount, is printed on a surface of the metal mold W. In this way, distribution of the correction amount can be accurately displayed on the surface of the metal mold, and the worker is able to concretely catch in what distribution and tendency the metal mold provides its dimension and shape as compared with the reference data further what location of the metal mold by what amount must be corrected. As the result, the improvement of efficiency and accuracy for correcting the metal mold can be attained.
