PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour and cost required for noise countermeasures remarkably by using a discrimination means so as to section noise on a lighting line depending on the presence or absence of the possibility misrecognizing the noise as a part of a communication data bit, that is, a data component thereby applying proper noise countermeasure. CONSTITUTION:A reception means 7 receives a signal having a specified frequency and intensity only from a signal of a power line 1' being a signal transmission line and sends the result to a discrimination means 8. The discrimination means 8 discriminates the received signal into the data component satisfying the condition of specified phase relation and duration time and the noise component not satisfying the said condition. When it is discriminated that the data component is received, an informing means 9 is operated. If the noise generated from a device 5' is the same as the communication signal between a controller 2' and an adaptor 3', the communication is hindered and noise countermeasure is applied only with the presence of information according to the notice by a signal supervisory equipment 10.
