<p>The device comprises a numerical control unit (CNC) (1), a turret (2) with a number of tools attached, a hydraulic motor (3) and a pulse coder (4) which outputs 3000 pulses per turret rotation. A reversible counter (5), a valve driving means (6), a clamp driving means (7), a valve (8), and a cam (9) are also included. In advance to an operation, tool selection position and the magnitude of the slow down interval are set in a nonvolatile memory (16) via a manual data input device (CRT/MDi) (17). When a tool is selected, the turret is turned whilst the current position is monitored via the reversible counter. A microcomputer (16), controls the valve (8) so that slow-down occurs at a predetermined position and finally stops the turret for the selected tool.</p> |
