摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the titled measurement so as to enable the shape of the blast head to be improved inexpensively and easily leading the enhance heat recovery efficiency, by measuring respectively the temperatures of the two points provided downstream from a cooling spot to calculate the coke passage time between said two points. CONSTITUTION:A cooling spot is impinged, from a specified position, on coke 3 descending through a cooling tower 1 of a coke dry-type cooling unit, and the temperatures of the first measuring point 12 of a specified distance downward apart from said position and at the second measuring point 13 of a specified distance further downward apart from the point 12 are determined respectively to calculate the coke passage time between said two points 12 and 13, thus enabling coke descending rate in the cooling tower 1 and the velocity distribution in the circumferential direction to be detected accurately.
