<p>PURPOSE:To prevent mis-video recording due to a video recording switch left unoperated by controlling the operation of a video camera depending on the information through the detection of a change in the picked-up pattern. CONSTITUTION:A video signal from a CCD 1 is processed by a signal processing circuit 2 and an outputted Y signal 5 is inputted to low pass filters 12-16 via sample-and-hold circuits 7-11. Moreover, the phase of the output signal of the low pass filters 12-16 is compared by a phase comparator 17 and it is discriminated that the entire pattern is moving when the phase are coincident. When the state is consecutive to a time set by a timer 18, since it is judged that the camera is carried while the video recording switch left unoperated, the video recording state is stopped. Thus, waste of the recording tape and a battery due to continued mis-video recording is prevented.</p> |
