<p>PURPOSE: To increase the number of interconnecting elements by providing a line of spaced signal contact sockets and signal contact pins arranged in a matching line, and spacing a plurality of signal conductors from ground conductors. CONSTITUTION: A socket assembly 2 has a line of signal contact pins 8 and sockets 20 which are spaced apart by fixed intervals, and a signal conductor 14 is provided at an interval to the socket assembly 2 while being joined and secured to the signal contact pins 8. Also, a fixed connector part 3 is provided having an insulating housing having a shell enveloping a movable connector part 1, aligned fitting contacts 32, and a line of spring-shaped fingers 34. The fixed connector part 3 is secured to the movable connector part 1 by fitting the contacts into the sockets 20. Thereby the numbers of signal contacts and socket positions per unit area can be increased.</p> |
