PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of an apparatus by setting to let flow the same lamp current respectively to each discharge route of plural discharge lamps with different rating lamp powers, and making a common structure to make it possible to connect the connection terminals of the discharge lamps directly to the output terminal of a stabilizing circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a discharge lamp 4 is converted to a discharge lamp with a different rating lamp current, the lamp lighting voltage is changed. Therefore, the discharge route of the discharge lamp 4 is set to the length to let flow the lamp current same as the lamp current of the discharge lamp before it is converted to the lighting voltage, As a result, the replaced discharge lamp 4 is lighting-controlled by the same constant current stabilization circuit 2 without trouble. Since the discharge route of the discharge lamp 4 is set to let flow the same lamp current responding to the difference even though the rating lamp power is different, the contact current stabilization circuit 2 can be used commonly to discharge lamps with different rating lamp powers, and the apparatus 1 can be used commonly. The use efficiency of the apparatus of the lighting system as a whole is improved accordingly. |
