发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF IMPREGNATED CATHODE STRUCTURE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To have strong bond between component members and allow a heater to perform effective heating, by arranging foils of Ru-Mo eutectic alloy between the blocking surface of a metal sleeve, cathode supporting wire, and the bottom surface of a metal cup, and by making welding and fixation. CONSTITUTION:With the bottom surface facing up, a metal sleeve 3 is installed at one of the electrode terminals 72 of a resistance welding machine. On the bottom surface of this metal sleeve 3, two supporting wires 5 are arranged which intersect in right angle in the center of this bottom surface. A foil of Ru-Mo eutectic alloy 6 in a size smaller than the outside dia. of the metal sleeve 3 and approx. equal to the outside dia. of the metal cup 2 is arranged coaxially with the metal sleeve 3. Further, it is held under pressure by the other electrode terminal 71 of welding machine in such a way as coaxial with the cup 2 and so that the bottom surface of the sleeve 3 is in parallel with the bottom surface of the cup 2. Welding is performed by allowing a large current to flow while the atmosphere is made non-oxidative with argon gas, etc., allowed to flow. Thus the supporting wire 5 and metal cup are welded fast to the blocking end face of the metal sleeve using a foil of Ru-Mo eutectic alloy as a high melting point brazing material.</p>
