PURPOSE: To provide an electrically conductive product by using an organic polymer fiber and film impregnated with polyaniline salt, or having a self- adhered polyaniline salt coat. CONSTITUTION: Polyaniline is produced generally at a process for the oxidative and catalytic polymerization of aniline in an acidic catalyst. The aniline is polymerized with a fiber or a film in an aqueous solution, with the fiber or the film kept in contact with the solution, thereby obtaining salt adhering to a polymer base material. Also, when polyaniline salt is preferably mixed into a fiber or film base material, the aqueous solution of the aniline is first adsorbed to a polymer fiber or film expanded due to the existence of water, or preferably adsorbed to poly(p-phenylene terephthalic amide), and then polymerized on the spot. An ion exchange polymer of fiber or film type may be also used. As a result, an electrically conductive and organic polymer product can be provided. |
