PURPOSE:To take an excellent picture in daylight synchronized flash photography without overexposure by the correcting the measured light brightness of an AE sensor which take an averaged light measurement to a proper value in synchronized flash photography. CONSTITUTION:The AE sensor 38 takes an averaged light measurement of the brightness of a subject, photodetects light separated by a beam splitter 14, and outputs a signal corresponding to the quantity of photodetection to a CPU 30 through a logarithmic amplifier 40. Then when the measured brightness is large and the sensor ratio is large in the synchronized flash photography, the daylight synchronized photography is judged and the measured light brightness is corrected with a brightness correction value to prevent overexposure. Further, when the measured light brightness BV(AV) is small and the sensor ratio K is large, the measured light brightness is corrected with the brightness correcting value having the opposite polarity to eliminate overexposure. Consequently, the exposure dependency of a main subject upon the light of a stroboscopic device 50 is made large to take the excellent picture whose image plane is entirely proper. |
