<p>Apparatus is disclosed for folding and stacking a continuous sheet (50) of paper which is provided with transverse perforations lines. An air outlet (56) positioned over the stacker is utilized for emitting a starting air stream on a side of the starting portion of the sheet of paper to convey it to a fence (14,16) associated with a guide roller system (30,32,34,36) positioned a the opposite side. Compacting and retaining means (66,86) are lovered as the sheet of paper contact the fence and a support plane (12) receiving the sheet.</p> |
