Connecting electrohydraulic valves of system contained in fixed housing - applying wire-wrapped pins with leads brought out to edge connector points for motor vehicle brake installation

A hydraulic system, such as a braking system of a motor vehicle, has a number of electromagnetically actuated valves (12) located in a housing. Each has a pair of pins (13) projecting from the top surface. The top of the housing has a plate (14) which acts as a cover and is produced of an insulating material, e.g. plastics. The edge of the cover has formed conductor tracks (21) in parallel for external connection to a controller. Connections to the actuator pins are made by bridging wires (31). These are wire wrapped around the pins. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies connection to electrohydraulic valve so that it can be automated, e.g. by industrial robot, without breaking of wire.
