PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice interaction system and method capable of automatically controlling a timing in which an operator is allowed to interfere corresponding to the knowledge level of a user. SOLUTION: In this voice interaction system, the voice information of a user is inputted, and the voice recognition of the voice information is performed, and the contents of the voice information are analyzed, and the transmission path of the voice information is controlled according to the contents of the voice information so that a synthetic voice can be outputted, and the reply contents corresponding to the voice information are extracted by referring to a knowledge database so that the synthetic voice corresponding to the reply contents can be prepared. Whether or not the interaction of a user is smoothly performed is always monitored, and when it is judged that the interaction of the user is not smoothly performed, a third person is allowed to participate in the conversation of the user. |
