PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition containing a specific aromatic polyamide resin, specific spherical carbon particles, and specific fluoro resin powder in a specified ratio, capable of being injection-molded at a low cost, excellent in the thermal resistance, frictional abrasion resistance and dimensional stability and useful for sliding bearings, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises (A) 50-98wt.% of an aromatic polyamide resin containing as a main component the polycondensation product of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component with one or more kinds selected from among an aliphatic diamine, an alicyclic diamine and an aromatic carbonamide, (B) 2-20wt.% of spherical carbon particles (the average particle diameter is preferably 5-20mum) obtained by thermally treating phenolic resin particles e.g. at 800-2000 deg.C, and (C) 0-40wt.% of fluororesin powder such as polytetrafluoroethylene (the average particle diameter is preferably 5-20mum). |
