PURPOSE:To reduce the required floor area for a fuel battery by reducing a space required for a cooling system to miniaturize a manifold. CONSTITUTION:A header 4 is placed near to a cold plate so that the length of protrusion of a cooling pipe protruding from the cold plate satisfies the formula of Y/Ymax>=(X/Xmax)<1/2>, and a collecting pipe 5 is provided in the position of a space spreading between the header 4 and a manifold 1 to miniaturize the manifold. In the formula, X and Y respectively are the protruding position and the protruding length of a cooling pipe 3 and Xmax and Ymax respectively are the protruding position and the protruding length of the cooling pipe 3 at the point where the protruding length becomes maximum. |
