PURPOSE:To provide the subject laser device dispensing with an excessive laser beam generator required heretofore and reduced in cost to a large extent. CONSTITUTION:This laser device for separating an isotope has a laser beam distribution means 3 making the optical axes of laser beams 2 emitted from a optical reaction area 1 with an atom independent at every wavelength, means 7-11 adjusting the pulse timings of laser beams 4 of respective wavelengths divided by the laser beam distribution means, a means amplifying the outputs of laser beams adjusted in pulse timing and a laser beam synthesizing means 13 synthesizing the optical axes of respective wavelengths of laser beams using an optical element, and the laser beam synthesized in wavelength is allowed to be again incident on the optical reaction area 1 with an atom.
