PURPOSE: To sort a container even when it is light in weight without being fallen by providing a ramming element comprising a plurality of groups, setting them opposite to each with respect to head parts in a sorting area, and arranging and driving each group into motion between the head parts opposite to each other in ramming the container. CONSTITUTION: A container 2 is introduced into a first passage 5 of a conveyor 1 in a sorting area 3. Carriage areas 4'-6' to which the container 2 is carried are connected to carriage passages 4-6 in the sorting area 3. In addition, carriage support devices 11a, 11b capable of ramming the container 2 into the sorting area 3 are arranged to sort the container 2 by a head part 30. A ramming element 25 to be driven by operation devices 35, 36..., and its control device 10, and a steering device 9 are arranged, the ramming element 25 comprises a plurality of groups, which are opposite to each other with respect to the head part 30 in the sorting area 3. The ramming element 25 arranges each group and drives it into motion between the head parts 30 opposite to each other in ramming the container 2. |
