摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent mispicking while enabling the selection of picking speed pattern according to weft kind. CONSTITUTION:Rapier wheels 5, 6 are reciprocatingly revolved by the actuation of servomotors 7, 8, respectively, and rapier heads 1, 2 enter the inside of a warp opening and meet with each other at the center of the width of a cloth. A control computer C makes a feedback control of the revolving speeds of the servomotors 7, 8, respectively, based on picking speed pattern set in advance for every weft kind by an input unit 11, the information given by a rotary encoder 12 for detecting the revolving angles of a loom, and the information given by rotary encoders 7a, 8a for detecting the revolving angles of the servomotors 7, 8.</p>
