<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper inversion device which does not necessitate switching of the direction of rotation of an inversion roller provided in an inversion passage into forward and reverse directions, can invert paper into front or rear side automatically without necessitating sensors for detecting paper, and does not cause paper jamming and skew. CONSTITUTION:In an inversion device which conveys paper from an introduction passage 51 to an inversion passage 52 and conveys paper to a feed-out passage 53 by switching paper back when a rear end of paper passes through the introduction passage 51, an inversion roller 65 provided at an inlet of the inversion passage 52 is rotated and driven in the arrow (d) direction at all times, and an inversion roller 66 is capable of coming into contact with or separating from the roller 65. When a tip of paper presses a claw portion 67a of a lever 67, the roller 66 comes apart from the roller 65, and paper is conveyed to the inversion passage 52 between the rollers 65, 66. When the rear end of paper passes through the introduction passage 51, the roller 66 comes into pressure- contact with the roller 65 and paper is switched back. A tip of paper is hooked by a paddle 60d of a conveyance roller 60, and paper is conveyed to the feed-out passage 53.</p> |
