PURPOSE:To provide a forming method capable of shortening the molding time and degreasing time and giving little deformation on the formed ceramic article. CONSTITUTION:Ceramic powder is incorporated with a thermosetting organic adhesive such as epoxy adhesive and a solvent, and the obtained slurry is poured into a mold having a specific shape and heated at a temperature above the curing temperature of the thermosetting adhesive. Since the curing of the thermosetting organic adhesive is irreversible, no deformation takes place on the ceramic article even by heating the ceramic article to remove the solvent from the article. |
