摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive temporary recording material which is capable of performing recording of a favorable and high-quality image by laser beams, by a method wherein a heat sensitive recording layer whose transparency is changed reversibly depending on a temperature change is provided on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A polymer and organic low-molecular substance taking crystalline structure or an organic low-molecular substance changing reversibly between polycrystalline structure and single-crystal structure are dissolved into a solvent and a coating solution for heat sensitive recording layer is prepared. In this case, single polymer or copolymer or polyester such as vinyl chloride or vinyl acetate or vinyl alcohol is available as appropriate example of the polymer. Then alkanol or alkane diol is available as an appropriate example of the organic low-molecular substance. The coating solution for the foregoing heat sensitive recording layer preferably a coating solution obtained by compounding an infrared absorbing substance with the coating solution is applied onto a substrate such as paper or synthetic paper or a plastic film and dried, to which the heat sensitive recording layer is laminated and a heat sensitive temporary recording material performing recording by laser beams is obtained.
