<p>The drive system includes the stepper motor (10), a lever connected to the shaft of the motor (10), a mechanical zero stop (14) designed to stop rotor movement when the lever reaches the stop and an electrical control system (50). The control system (50) generates a sequence of electrical control signals which drives the motor in the forward and reverse directions, the signal sequence corresponding to successive regular magnetic cycles. The control system (50) is designed to attenuate the amplitude of the control signals corresponding too a negative couple applied to the motor, over one at least (I,II) of the magnetic cycle sectors of the signal sequence which causes reverse rotation, with respect to the other sectors, so as to control return to zero.</p> |
