The terminal includes a lid (7) which incorporates one picture screen unit (5). A lower part (8) incorporates another picture screen unit (6) which presents the work surface. The picture screen unit in the lid presents moving pictures in different fields for the conference participants. The picture screen unit which presents the work surface is interactive. It also incorporates an interactive pointing unit (9). A withdrawable keyboard forms a part of the computer terminal and the terminal itself is a portable desk-top computer (1). The work surface can be processed with the aid of the computer, either in the traditional manner with a withdrawable keyboard and mouse unit or through interacting directly on the screen. Buttons or fields (10) on the screen are provided which can be activated directly with fingers or with the aid of a pen-shaped pointing unit.
