<p>A moving apparatus is mainly driven by man power for a man to travel and provided with a drive power assisting device. The moving apparatus detects a travelling condition by detecting a speed of rotation of a rotating unit such as wheels without contacting the rotating unit, and permits the drive power assisting device to supply an assiting drive power to the rotating unit in accordance with a speed change information, which a driver issues on the basis of a travelling information detected, to thereby perform a smooth travelling even when travelling only by man power becomes difficult.</p> |
