The power plant (30) contains a gas turbine unit (32) for generating electric power and hot exhaust fumes, and a water heating arrangement (36) for a recovery of the heat of the exhaust fumes. The water heating arrangement contains an indirect heat exchange (56A) for transferring heat from the exhaust fumes to the water in the exchange, whereby hot water is produced. The power plant contains furthermore a hot water usage device (12) which uses the heat in supplied hot water in seasonally changing quantities. An organic cycle converter (50) with an evaporation arrangement (52) receives hot water and produces organic steam. A turbine (54) for organic steam is provided for generating relaxed organic steam and electric power. A capacitor (56) for organic steam is provided for condensing the relaxed organic steam and for generating a condensation. A device (60) is provided for leading back the condensation into the evaporation arrangement.
