PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of tights wherein the pressure thereof acting on the thigh is different from that acting on the shank across a phantom boundary line drawn immediately below the knee joint, the pressure on the thigh being higher than that on the shank, so as to enhance the mental concentration and reduce fatigue of the wearer during physical exercises. SOLUTION: In this pair of tights made of elastic materials, its pressure (preferably 15-30gf/cm<2> during use) acting on the thigh including the quadriceps, femoral flexors and adductors is made lower than that (preferably 60-80gf/cm<2> ) acting on the shank including the crural extensors and flexors across a phantom boundary line drawn immediately below the knee joint. The tights material covering the shank has a higher pressurizing strength than that covering the thigh, and the pressurizing strength tested in accordance with JIS L1096 constant rate of extension method (a test specimen is extended at the rate of 200mm/min up to the load of 1.8kg, then the extension is released at a constant rate to obtain a SS curve, and the pressurizing strength is measured as the stress of the specimen when the extension is reduce to 30%) is preferably >=250g. |
