<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by accumulating sheets conveyed from an image forming device main body during processing of the sheets or during conveying of sheet bundles after the sheets are stacked on a single intermediate tray and performing respective processes in a plurality of trays in parallel. SOLUTION: In a finisher serving as a sheet processing device, a sheet S on which an image is formed by means of a copying machine 1 is received in conveying roller pair 22, 24 so as to be discharged to an intermediate tray 32 if a sheet size is a small size when a staple sort is selected. The stacked sheets S on the intermediate tray 32 are processed by means of a stapler 35 in compliance with a set mode, and then, the bundle of the sheets is conveyed onto a discharge tray 37 on the downstream side by means of a bundle conveying roller 40' and a discharge roller pair 56. On the other hand, sheets conveyed in from the copying machine 1 after accumulation of the sheets S on the intermediate tray 32 is finished are stacked on another intermediate tray 33 so as to be processed.</p> |
