<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of the paper supply operation by suppressing the rise of paper in a paper supply cassette which occurs due to the release of a lock of a bottom plate when the paper supply cassette is inserted into a paper supply device within a predetermined scope. SOLUTION: A paper supply roller 1 consists of a core part 4 made of hard plastic (the shape of this core part is cylindrical) and a rubber cover fitted in the core part 4. When paper 5 is set in a paper supply cassette, an uppermost part of the paper 5 in the paper supply cassette comes into contact with a paper rise regulation part 3 of the paper supply roller 1 and stops substantially. That is, the paper 5 in the cassette does not move upward any more when it comes into contact with the paper rise regulation part 3. Consequently, it is possible to avoid a problem that the paper 5 comes off from a corner claw 8 due to the impact caused by the stop of the paper supply cassette at this time as is observed in an ordinary device.</p> |
