<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the position of a cart and to effectively utilize the data by setting marker zones at specified positions on a route for movement of the cart in a golf course and arranging a cart position detecting means for detecting passing of the cart through the marker zone and finding the position of the cart on the cart. SOLUTION: A cart road 2 on which a cart 1 runs is formed closely to holes H1-H4 in a golf course. In addition, cart stopping positions 4a at tee grounds of the cart road 2, cart stopping positions 4b at greens and marker zones M arranged with mats 5 just before the neighborhood of a boundary 4c between holes, e.g. between a hole H1 and a hole H2 are formed and by detecting that the cart 1 passes through the marker zone M by using an apparatus for collecting information on the carts carried on the cart 1, the position of the cart 1 is specified. Then, information on the positions of the cart 1 detected is transferred to a main office 3 by radio communication.</p> |
