<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively handle a wheel of a large-sized vehicle by a small number of wheel handling equipments, by lifting the wheel with a wheel bearer for demounting and mounting the wheel on the vehicle, to move the same. SOLUTION: A wheel bearer 1 is stopped by a pair of support rods 10 of a materials handling equipment 6 at both ends of the first and second stopper rods, and then the materials handling equipment 6 is moved to a lower part of a wheel W of a large-sized vehicle, to load the demounted wheel W on the wheel bearer 1 stopped on the materials handling equipment 6. And the materials handling equipment 6 supports the wheel W by the pair of support rods 10, and the wheel W is lifted up and down in safety with the wheel bearer 1 by operating an elevator 9. In this occasion, the wheel W is prevented from rolled down or tumbled from the wheel bearer 1. Further the materials handling equipment 6 is transported to a storage in a condition that the wheel bearer 1 supporting the wheel W, is stopped thereon, so that the wheel W can be put down on the storage with the wheel bearer 1.</p> |
