<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a phosphorus component in waste water in a home level by passing waste water pretreated in a pretreatment tank in a process before a filter through an electrolytic cell equipped with electrodes at least one of which is an anode composed of a metal material forming insoluble phosphate under aeration to supply a current thereto. SOLUTION: A pretreatment tank 1, an activated sludge tank 2 treating a contaminant contained in pretreated waste water and a filter 3 filtering waste water treated within the activated sludge tank 2 are successively provided and, further, in the process before the filter 3, that is, between the pretreatment tank 1 and the activated sludge tank 2, an electrolytic cell 4 equipped with electrodes 5 and an aeration air diffusion pipe 6 is provided. At this time, at least the anode 51 among the electrodes 5 is formed of a metal material ionized by the supply of a current to be eluted and reacted with phosphate ions contained in waste water containing a phosphorus component to form water- insoluble phosphate. By performing aeration in the electrolytic cell 4 by the air diffusion pipe 6, the removal efficiency of a phosphorus component is enhanced.</p> |
