FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method makes it possible to determine minimum time required for vulcanization of rubber mixes under pressure with guaranteed absence of pores by using moulds with spherical forming space for vulcanization of solid specimen. Vulcanized spherical specimen is diametrically cut and, if pores are detected on cut, minimum radius of pore-formation is measured. Then, according to given relationship, minimum time for vulcanization is determined at which no pores are formed.
