FIELD: municipal machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: device relates to machines intended for cleaning preferably motor road and street pavements from ice and compacted snow. Device has base chassis and frame. Installed on frame are power-driven rotors with vertical axis of rotation. Installed on each rotor by horizontal axles are cup-shaped cutters. Cutting edge of cutters is serrated. Axles of cutters are kinematically linked with shafts of rotors. Application of aforesaid embodiment of ice breaking device manifests high productive capacity and good quality of pavement cleaning. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
