PURPOSE: A OFDM transmission type micro frequency restore apparatus and method capable of detecting a phase error between symbols by adding signals to one another for one symbol time and multiplying a conjugate complex number of a value obtained by adding pilot signals of odd numbered symbol by a value obtained by adding pilot signals of even numbered symbol are provided. CONSTITUTION: The OFDM transmission type micro frequency restore apparatus comprising: an FFT section(130) for fast Fourier-transforming an OFDM receiving signal; a phase error estimator(345) for detecting pilots from the fast Fourier-transformed signal from the FFT section(130), adding the pilots for one symbol time to one another, multiplying a conjugate complex number of a value obtained by adding pilot signals of odd numbered symbol by a value obtained by adding pilot signals of event numbered symbol, and estimating a phase error between symbols based on the multiplying result value; and a frequency error correcting section(340) for correcting a frequency error of the OFDM receiving signal according to the phase error estimating value from the phase error estimator(345).
