METHOD FOR CALIBRATING AND SENSING OUTER TEMPERATURE OF AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE ADJUSTER

PURPOSE: A method for calibrating and sensing outer temperature is provided to prevent the adjuster from sensing wrong by heat disturbance of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling an automatic temperature adjuster is completed by the steps of: judging if an ignition switch(50) is turned on or off; detecting outer temperature by initiating an outdoor temperature sensor(21) and detecting engine cooling water temperature through a cooling water temperature sensor(24) when judging the ignition switch is turned on; judging if the detected cooling water temperature is more than threshold temperature; and sensing stored outer temperature as adjusted and indicated outer temperature when the cooling water temperature is more than the critical temperature. Therefore, the method prevents the adjuster from sensing wrong by using the stored ambient temperature as information for indicting and adjusting temperature when an engine generates heat disturbance.
